There is no recession for E-commerce in France, it has been thriving during the economic crisis and the number of online stores exceeds 110,000. We are currently witnessing the first consolidation movements. Many French people now have access to broadband at home and they are no longer reluctant to surf the Internet and purchase online. They also visit community websites, use price comparison websites and receive more virtual information via their mobile phone: m-commerce has begun its expansion. Tomorrow, other screens (tablets, TVs, etc.) will take over, with an always more successful interaction between online shops and physical outlets. On the downside, competition is fierce; it is becoming difficult to make a name for oneself on the Web. If opening an e-shop is just a click away, how many actually become profitable and how long does it take? Faced with an increasingly inflated offer, websites must above all stand out from the crowd, lay down proper bases for differentiation and achieve successful SEO!.
